If you had had tried CyanogenMod, probably you have notice that it takes a while for the phone to boot. So I liked to have a good looking animation while waiting. I tried kind of a lot of animations, and here is the list of the once I liked the most. ( At the moment I don’t have anymore CyanogenMod, I am running the Stock ROM with Franco Kernel)
ctOS Boot Animation (CM11/12)
Thos Boot Animation is created by benmeroff. The shapes are taken from the famous WatchDogs game. I used to have this as my boot animation for more that 3 months. This one worked for me also on CM13 without any issues.

Of course if you want a bigger collection of boot animations you can download an app that will do this work for you. The app I liked the most was Bhoot – boot animations that has a really easy interface and a really good collection of boot animations. You can download Bhoot by clicking the button below.
Finally my favourite “boot animation” was LiveBoot. I used the premium version that gives you more features and what is actually does is displaying the logcat of the phone, while booting. You can select for the background to be black so it looks like a boot animation, or you can select to run over your current boot animation. This app is developed by Chainfire, the creator of SuperSU and more great apps. You can download the app for free from the button below.
